Before & after 🚰
When I first started doing plumbing, I thought brass & cast iron drain pipes were superior to ABS & PVC. It should make sense that metal is stronger and more durable then plastic, right?
Wrong. Metal drain pipes corrode over time, almost always crack when you try to loosen them, and require lots of tools and elbow grease to work with. On the other hand, plastic pipes last forever, are easy to cut, tighten easily by hand, and are significantly cheaper.
